Avery Peak is a challenging climb, but well worth the time and effort; even though it is not the highest peak in Maine, it certainly has views that rival even Katahdin. To the north, hikers will see an amazing view of Flagstaff Lake, and from the peak, alpine views in all directions.
Avery Peak is one of the peaks in Maine's magnificent Bigelow Mountain Range.
