This mountain is located in the vicinity of Worthley Pond, in Sumner and Peru, Maine. The mountain is approached by way of the Greenwoods road to the Black Mountain Road. There are (I have heard) nice views from the ledges at the top of the mountain.
However, there has been extensive logging done in the area, and the trails and cairns have been essentially obliterated. I attempted to hike this mountain with a friend today, and we discovered a maze of crisscrossed logging trails, and no cairns. We never made it to the summit. Unless you enjoy simply exploring, I would not recommend attempting this hike.
